Board Approves Enforcement Policy & Penalty Guidelines 

At the February Board Meeting, the McMullin Area Groundwater Sustainability Agency (MAGSA) Board of Directors approved the Enforcement Policy & Penalty Guidelines. The goal of the Policy is to promote compliance with MAGSA’s rules and regulations through the adoption and application of consistent enforcement practices and to ensure that landowners and entities receive due process. MAGSA intends for this Policy to promote a consistent approach to enforcement actions, to make enforcement a high priority, and to promote a culture of compliance within MAGSA. 

The draft Enforcement Policy & Penalty Guidelines were made available for public comment, and reviewed by MAGSA’s Stakeholder Committee and Technical Advisory Committee.
