The Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA) is shaping the future of groundwater. Learn how MAGSA is advancing groundwater sustainability in a way that prioritizes farming, supports residents, and strengthens our region’s water supply at our 2026 Vision Event on January 29th from 11:15 AM to 12:30 PM at the Kerman Community Center.
MAGSA’s management team will talk about major accomplishments that are moving the McMullin Expansion and Aquaterra Water Bank projects toward construction. Both projects are designed to help the region and Kings Subbasin replenish the groundwater aquifer. You will hear details about how we met our 10 percent overdraft reduction target for 2025, and what is being worked on to meet 2030’s target. We will also share some exciting news about new on-the-ground technology that MAGSA will provide to growers to better refine irrigation scheduling.
