Grower Irrigation Academy Field Day (English)

As part of the Grower Irrigation Academy, the McMullin Area Groundwater Sustainability Agency (MAGSA) and Fresno State’s Center for Irrigation Technology (CIT) are hosting a field day in English on November 22nd from 9 AM to 1 PM. This field day is for growers, farm managers, farm workers, irrigation specialists, and others who work on farms in the MAGSA region.

This interactive experience will give participants an opportunity to see field demonstrations and ask local irrigation experts questions related to Irrigation Efficiency and Distribution Uniformity in MAGSA-specific conditions. Attendees will experience:

• Live demonstrations showcasing irrigation equipment to assess system performance.
• Hands-on training on evaluating irrigation Distribution Uniformity (DU)—a critical measure of system efficiency and effectiveness.
