MAGSA is proposing a $32.85/acre landowner assessment to fund construction of the McMullin On-Farm Flood Capture Expansion Project, a large-scale on-farm recharge project designed to capture excess Kings River floodwaters during wet years and recharge the aquifer.
Please be advised that a public hearing is set for 2:00 p.m. on June 3, 2026, at the Kerman Community Center, 15101 W. Kearney Blvd., Kerman, CA 93630 to consider the new assessment. The proposed assessment, if approved, will be in addition to the Agency’s current annual fee of $19/acre. If you wish to comment on this matter you are invited to do so at the Public Hearing.
