Growers Can Now Apply for EQIP Funding through Early November
MAGSA landowners are eligible for up to $1 million annually through the US Department of Agriculture Natural Resources Conservation Service Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) under the WaterSMART Initiative, available through Fiscal Year 2026.
Eligible projects may include: water delivery automation & monitoring; irrigation water management & conveyance; sprinkler irrigation systems, & more.
Landowners with an average gross income of $900,000 or less are encouraged to apply. The deadline for this year’s funding cycle is early November 2024.
